The Lifestyle Edit, Vol. 7

 In Lifestyle, Tips + Thoughts

JUNE.. is that you already?!  The countdown to summer has begun and rosé and rooftop season is back in full swing here in NYC. After two weeks jetsetting across Europe I’m starting to get back into my work routine. I’ve also been trying to stay on top of news and trends that I’ve missed.  So, grab a glass of wine and sit back to read this volume of The Lifestyle Edit!

My Week:

Pit– The pit of my week was getting over jet lag, which also has to do with my peak! I’ve been struggling big time to keep my energy up at work.

Peak– The peak of my week was my EUROPE TRIP!! I’ll be posting my travel guides (and videos!) soon, but my family and I just got back from London, Paris, Venice, and Rome. It was magical 🙂

Industry News To Know:

Reformation Moves to Wholesale Deal with Nordstrom– This is the first wholesale partnership for the brand and will allow consumers who do not live in New York or LA to shop the adorable clothes much easier.  Business of Fashion

Apple’s Memoji Let’s you create an Animoji of Yourself– Apple announced yesterday that they are rolling out a feature that let’s you create an animoji of yourself and design all of the elements. The Verge

Sephora Takes on BeautyCon with Own Event– The LVMH-owned retailer is setting up a temporary space for attendees to interact with brands in a funhouse atmosphere, which it hopes will spark a social media bonanza.  Business of Fashion

Things To Watch:

Looking for that summer shimmer? My fave clean beauty brand just came out with the prettiest cream highlighter sticks! They come in pearl, rose, and bronze to work for every skin type. While you’re shopping there, you might want to stock up on some of their best-selling sunscreen too!!

You guys know I love being in-the-know with current events and trends happening. The Newsette is one of my favorite morning newsletters for industry news! They also show cute Instagram photos and interview girl-bosses, which is amazing! You can sign up with my link here.

Europe sounds like a dream! We took that exact trip (with the addition of Luzern and the Swiss Alps) almost two years ago and it was so magical!
