We had the most magical night celebrating my 30th birthday in NYC back in April! Yes, this post is few months late, but I still wanted to share a full recap and photos here. I’ve posted the party on Instagram and TikTok and LOVE how people are messaging me that they booked the venue for their celebration dinners, too!
I feel like there can be a lot of pressure when planning a birthday, especially a milestone one, and I wanted to keep it easy for my friends to attend and enjoy. We thought about planning a trip, weekend friend getaway, or larger cocktail party, but ultimately decided on a dinner party with our friends in the city, and it was perfect. 🙂
We hosted the dinner in the wine cellar at Misirizzi, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was served as family-style and we did an open bar with a few signature cocktails. While keeping it as “low-key” as possible, I still wanted to make sure there were fun decor pieces. We had flower arrangements from Scott’s Flowers, printed menus + place cards, tons of taper candles, and actually used extra table runners from our wedding! I had some customized matchboxes made on Etsy for the favors, and we got the cutest (and tastiest) cake from Tipsy & Baked.
