FINALLY! It’s time for my bachelorette party recap.. also known as BachLAURette! We set off for Charlottesville, VA in mid-May for a weekend of celebrations. It was honestly the most perfect weekend ever and more than I ever dreamed of!! There’s something so heartwarming about getting all of your friends together in one place ๐
Charlottesville, VA might not be your typical bachelorette party destination, but that’s another reason why we picked it! As you might know, Tim and I met at school in Richmond, VA, so Virginia holds a special place in our hearts. We’re also getting married in Richmond and just love the area. I used to go to the Charlottesville vineyards in school and always had the best time… so I knew it would be a blast! Cville was a pretty central meeting place for my friends who live in different states, has the best weather, and so many fun things to do as a big group.
I’ll try to break this post out into a few categories like itinerary, the house, the gifts, and the outfits. But you can always see more on my Instagram or send me any questions there too! Big shoutout to my sister (MOH), mom, and all of my bridesmaids and friends who helped to make the weekend happen!
Bachelorette Party Itinerary

Okay- so above is the itinerary that we printed out for all the girls and put with their goodie bags! We wanted to have a balance of planned activities/partying and then some downtime and a good old fashioned sleepover/PJ party at the house ๐ One of my recommendations is to definitely add time to relax or nap into the schedule because you will be tired!
Friday:
Everyone arrived to our adorable AirBnb on Friday afternoon. We got our rooms and goodie bags and then started to hangout and get ready before dinner! Dinner was in the Charlottesville downtown mall area at a cute Mexican restaurant, Pasiflora. After dinner, everyone came back and changed into fun outfits for our disco dance party at the house! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much.
Saturday:
Saturday was the packed Bachelorette party day and we had the best time!! We started off with a bubbly brunch at the house with Poema Cava, seen here, then adventured all day. We used Cville Hop on Tours to rent a private bus to take us to all of the different stops for the day. I cannot recommend them enough! Our driver was so sweet (putting up with 12 girls all day), and the bus was comfy and had snacks/waters/music/disco lights for the whole day! We did a mix of stops along the wine trail, a cider bar, and brewery. More details on each below:
Stop 1: Keswick Vineyards– We actually looked here for a potential wedding venue, so I wanted to come back and explore more. It was super cute/casual with live music playing and a great first stop to ease into the day!
Stop 2: Merrie Mill Farm & Vineyard– Obsessed is an understatement! Merrie Mill is a newer addition to the Charlottesville wine trail and it’s so cute and whimsical! Not only do they have yummy wine and food, the decor is just BEYOND. We sat upstairs on the terrace and were able to look at the vines while listing to their live band. Check out a little video below:
Stop 3: Castle Hill Cider– Another spot that we were looking at for the wedding, and it’s just as stunning in person! We switched it up from the wine and enjoyed trying Castle Hill’s cider and tasty cider cocktails. We also got some charcuterie boards and panini flights that were amazinggg. They were setting up for a wedding, so naturally we had to creep a little. This stop had such great vibes and you could sit inside or outside! PS- you can now order their cider online to ship to you ๐ See more here:
Stop 4: Patch Brewery– Another new addition to Cville is Patch Brewery! A lot of my friends like beer, so I wanted to throw in this stop for them. Patch was a super relaxed environment and had a lot of games we could grab and play while tasting the beer. They also have a huge outdoor area that you can bring your pups to. It was perfect for our final stop!
Saturday night: We came home from a day of drinking and exploring and made the executive decision not to nap... always a bad idea to sleep haha. We changed into these PJs that everyone got in their goodie bags, ordered pizza, and had the best game night/sleepover! We also got a ton of face masks, eye masks, lip masks, etc. from my favorite, Patchology! I set up a little gifting suite for the girls and we loved using these to unwind after the long day.
Sunday:
Sunday was very relaxed and we hangout at the house before some people started heading home. The rest of us went to brunch and walked around the downtown mall! I highly recommend having a lazy morning on the last day of your bachelorette.
The Details
The house: We stayed at this adorable AirBnb called The Pop Inn. It was literally made for bachelorette parties and had everything we needed! We didn’t need to pack nearly as much as we did lol.
Goodie Bags: Of course I wanted to have cute goodie bags for the girls, but I also wanted to fill them with useful items! My friend’s sister made custom jute bags for us and we filled them with matching pjs, disco cups for the party, hangover kits, gold bracelets, the itinerary, and straws! The hangover kits were filled with goodies from No Days Wasted and were such a lifesaver. I literally bring their hydration replenishers and DHM detox packs with me every weekend away! You can use code LAUREN for 10% off the site as well.
Decor: My mom and sister killed the decor game! We had a huge balloon arch that my friends built for us (from Etsy) and then a few other photo moments throughout. Everything was rose gold/pink/white and SO so cute!!
Treats: You can’t have a party without treats! I partnered with Mini Melanie to get champagne cookies and cake truffles to give everyone as a parting gift. They were SO good.
Outfits
Yes- I had approximately 1000 outfit changes. ๐ But, would you expect anything less from me?! All of my bachelorette outfits are linked HERE and on my LTK page. A little round up of them below:
Overall, it was one of the best weekends of my life! I tried to make it easy for everyone and just have FUN! Let me know if you have any questions about my bachelorette party or any questions for planning your own. Stay tuned for some more wedding-related posts to come!
