#NSale Guide for the Lazy Girl

#nsale

Hey hey! I’m sure you’ve gotten your fair share of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or #nsale posts on social media. To be honest, I debated about even posting one. But after getting a few questions, I decided that I’d put one together for you!

Usually shopping any of these huge sales can be overwhelming and sometimes it’s hard to even know where to start. First, I definitely recommend online shopping as opposed to in store for this one. You can order multiple sizes and easily return with Nordstrom’s great return policy. Nordstrom includes a free return label, so you just try everything on at home and throw it back in the mail.. my fav! Also, you never know what your store would actually have in stock.  After all, going shopping and finding out that your size is sold out in everything you wanted is a major buzzkill.

Next, I found that Nordstrom featured a lot of staple pieces this year (i.e. white t-shirts and denim) so I dug through to find some of the true winners. Another section that I usually neglect during sales is the beauty area. Nords has a whole section of beauty specials just for the #Nsale and also a lot of make-up necessities that are marked down just for the sale! While I’m trying to spend less money on clothes (read: I work in media in NYC), I still need to refresh my make-up constantly.

Finally, some of the trends I’m seeing for fall are OTS (totally fine with this), embellished shoes, and athleisure. I voted myself one of the best online shoppers, my doorman would probably agree lol. So of course I looked through everything on the site to link only the BEST below. All you have to do to shop is click on the photo and it takes you directly to the listing 🙂 Also, a lot of the items come in various colors and patterns, so be sure to click to check! Not to mention, everything is split up by category, which makes it super easy for all of you lazy chicks like me to shop.

  1. Help! MY daughter Hope is an engineering student and has to dress business professional. She also is petite and looks young for her age. Can you give some tips on business professional without looking like you are dressing up in mom’s clothes?

    1. Hi Deb!
For business professional, I like to wear black pants and a black blazer and then usually a tank that is a bit less business-y. I stick to petite, straight leg pants (these are my fav>) and then heels to make my legs look longer!

I love tanks like this and kitten heels like this. Express and LOFT also have great options for work wear 🙂

      Xx,

      Lauren
