Gray, white, and blush pink.. three of my favorites that you can never go wrong with. I’ve been crushing on this color palette recently to use in my bedroom in my NYC apartment! If you’ve been following along, you might know that I just graduated from The University of Richmond with a degree in marketing and journalism.
Now, I’m taking on the Big Apple and started a job in media planning! I just finished my first full week of work and am exhausted. The media industry is so exciting- but it is definitely going to be a fast-paced job (guess I might need to start drinking coffee :p)
I was so excited to start searching for my first long-term apartment in NYC. I interned in the city for the past two summers, but was never able to be picky when looking for short-term subleases. It’s definitely a lot more fun getting to add my personal touch to things. In another life I would definitely be an interior designer.. how fun would it be to have your own HGTV show?!
My roommate and I are living on the east side of Manhattan by a lot of our other friends from school, which is bound to be a great time. My job started several weeks before my friends’ jobs, so during this month I plan to focus on work, work, and more work.
Now to the fun part- my bedroom! Here’s a sneak peak of how I designed and decorated my room, but there will definitely be more photos and a full apartment reveal to come. I stuck to the white, gray and blush/rose gold tones and kept them throughout the room. I’ve had my PBteen duvet for the past few years and brought it from school, and then got some decorative pillows to spice it up. I actually found this tufted storage bench at Home Goods (my fav) and then ordered this gorgeous bed frame online. I felt so bad for my doorman because when I arrived to move into the apartment there were already so many boxes.. oops.
I’m loving my little oasis of a room in all of the New York craziness. I’ve linked some of the pieces below, so just click to shop!
